We are born into this world without any knowledge or recollection of the past like a fresh restart. God assigns souls to the individuals according to His knowledge and wisdom. This life is a test that will lead us to Paradise (Heaven) or worst, the Hell depending upon how we perform in this life!

A Quranic account presented in the preceding Quranic verses that explains the creation, fall of two creations (Jinns and humans), life of this world as a test and return to God is summarized below:

1. Creation

  • (2:30-34): Describes the creation of Adam and his appointment as a vicegerent on Earth.

  • (38:71-72): "I am creating a human being from clay. Once I design him and blow into him from My spirit, you shall fall prostrate before him."

  • (7:54): Mentions the creation of the heavens and the Earth in six days.

  • (23:12-14): Details the stages of human creation from clay to a fully formed being.

2. Fall of Satan

  • (2:34): Satan refuses to prostrate to Adam, showing arrogance and disobedience.

  • (7:11-18): Satan’s rebellion and his vow to mislead humanity.

  • (38:74-85): Satan’s refusal to bow and his subsequent expulsion from God’s favor.

3. Fall of Humans

  • (2:35-36): Adam and Eve are deceived by Satan and eat from the forbidden tree, leading to their descent to Earth.

  • (20:120-123): Satan whispers to Adam and Eve, causing their eviction from Paradise.

  • (7:19-25): The story of Adam and Eve’s disobedience and their eventual repentance.

4. Life as a Test

  • (67:2): "He who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed."

  • (18:7): "Indeed, We have made that which is on the Earth an adornment for it, so that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed."

  • (2:155): Mentions tests through fear, hunger, and loss.

5. Ultimate Return to God

  • (2:28): "Then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you back to life, and then to Him you will return."

  • (84:6): "O man, surely, you are toiling towards your Lord, with hard labor. Then you are going to meet Him."

  • (99:7-8): "Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it."

We are born into this world without any knowledge or recollection of the past like a fresh restart. God assigns souls to the individuals according to His knowledge and wisdom. This life is a test that will lead us to Paradise (Heaven) or rather worst, the Hell depending upon how we perform in this life.

You will certainly be tested, through your money and your lives, and you will hear from those who received the scripture, and from the idol worshipers, a lot of insult. If you steadfastly persevere and lead a righteous life, this will prove the strength of your faith. (Quran 3:186)
