Paradise and Hell
GENESIS

Paradise or Heaven (“Jannah” in Arabic) will be an amazing place as God has provided magnificent allegorical descriptions. Hell will be on the opposite the most undesirable or miserable place. Hopelessness, despair, jealousy, animosity, fire, and darkness will prevail in Hell.

Paradise or Heaven (“Jannah” in Arabic) will be an amazing place as God has provided magnificent allegorical descriptions – gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow, one will have in it anything they wish for; they will have anything they would want. According to Quran, the allegory of Paradise that is promised for the righteous is this:
“The allegory of Paradise that is promised for the righteous is this: it has rivers of unpolluted water, and rivers of fresh milk, and rivers of wine— delicious for the drinkers—and rivers of strained honey. They have all kinds of fruits therein, and forgiveness from their Lord. (Are they better) or those who abide forever in the Hellfire, and drink Hellish water that tears up their intestines? (Quran 47:15)
“The allegory of Heaven, which is promised for the righteous, is flowing streams, inexhaustible provisions, and cool shade. Such is the destiny for those who observe righteousness, while the destiny for the disbelievers is Hell” (Quran 13:35)
Just as Paradise (Heaven) described by God is a great & desirable place for the righteous, Hell will be on the opposite the most undesirable or miserable place. Hopelessness, despair, jealousy, animosity, fire, and darkness will prevail there. According to the Quran, Hell, (referred to as "Jahannam" in Arabic) is depicted as a place of intense heat/darkness, scorching winds, boiling water, and a tree called Zaqqum with bitter fruit, where the disbelievers and sinners will be eternally tormented with varying degrees of punishment based on their deeds, with the most severe punishments reserved for the deepest levels of Hell; it is guarded by angels and is considered a place of ultimate suffering and despair (Quran 2:24; 4:55-56; 14:16 - 18; 22:19 – 22; 37:62 - 68; 44:43 - 50; 55:55; 78:21 - 30; 101:8 - 11).
"Every person tastes death, then you receive your recompense on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever misses Hell, barely, and makes it to Paradise, has attained a great triumph. The life of this world is no more than an illusion". (Quran: 3:185)
