MORE SIGNS OF GOD

10/25/202214 min read

There are additional profound signs from God in the matter all around us. The land, water, air, nutrients, essential amino acids to name a few are all witness to the wonderful creation of God!

Elements Essential to Life and fundamental building blocks of life:

Out of the 118 elements known in the periodic table, according to US FDA and other scientific resources, only 19 are absolutely critical in the human diet, these are called essential elements. According to the current scientific understanding, these 19 elements considered essential for life are: Carbon (C), Hydrogen (H), Oxygen (O), Nitrogen (N), Sodium (Na), Phosphorus (P), Sulfur (S), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Chlorine (Cl), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Molybdenum (Mo), Selenium (Se), Iodine (I), and Cobalt (Co).

Out of the above mentioned 19 essential elements, five elements C, H, N, O, S account for more than 95% (19x5) of the mass composition of human body and are the fundamental building blocks of life on earth with sulfur being essential to all cells (source: Wikipedia). Some of the most well-known and widely studied natural cycles include the water cycle, carbon cycle, nitrogen cycle and sulfur cycle.

If you add atomic numbers of these five fundamental elements C, H, N, O, S, they add up to 38 (which is 19 x 2). However, if you add atomic mass of these elements, they add up to 75 (which is almost 19 x4=76 by rounding).

The human body is more than 99% (atoms wise) comprised of just six elements: C (Carbon), H (Hydrogen), N (Nitrogen), O (Oxygen), Ca (Calcium), and P (Phosphorus). If you add atomic numbers of these six elements, they add up to 57, which is 19x 3. However, if you add atomic mass of these six elements, they add up to 114, which is exactly 19 x 6.

The most vital gaseous molecules on earth:

The two most vital gaseous molecules for living life survival on the planet earth are air and carbon dioxide. Air has molecular weight of 29 and carbon dioxide molecular weight of 44, their molecular weights add up to (2+9+4+4=) exactly 19.

We can also say, oxygen out of air the most essential for both human and animals’ survival. Therefore, if we add molecular weights of oxygen and carbon dioxide: 32 + 44 = 76, this is multiple of 19 (19 x 4).

The most abundant elements on Earth:

The most abundant atom on Earth is oxygen which makes up the largest portion of the Earth's crust by mass, followed by silicon, aluminum, and iron. Together, oxygen, silicon, aluminum, and iron account for around 95% by mass (19 x 5) – green shaded portion of table below. If we add atomic mass of these atoms, we get 190, which is also multiple of 19 (19 x 10).

Source: Google AI, and https://www.visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-the-abundance-of-elements-in-the-earths-crust/

We also know very well that most abundant atoms or molecules on earth are oxygen, water and silicon. Oxygen is present in both atmosphere as well as oxide form with various elements. For example, water H2O already contains oxygen, silicates are also oxides of Si (such as SiO2, etc.). Therefore, abundant atoms or elements can be represented as O, H2 and Si with atomic/molecular weights of 16, 2 and 28 respectively. 16, 2, 28 can be simplified: 1+6+2+2+8 and it results in number 19 (19 x 1).

We also know that the most abundant atom in the universe is hydrogen. It makes up approximately 75% of the universe's mass. While hydrogen is abundant in the universe, it's primarily found on Earth in the form of water molecules. According to most scientific data, approximately 97% of the Earth's water is saline (salt water) found in oceans, while only 3% is fresh water available for consumption by humans and other living organisms; meaning the vast majority of the world's water is saline. Average molecular weight of saline water is 58 grams/mole, whereas average molecular weight of fresh water is 18 grams/mole. If we sum these molecular weights of waters, saline plus fresh (58 + 18), the result is 76, which is multiple of 19 (19 x 4).

Now consider this: 97% of total water is saline water and 3% fresh, therefore, average molecular weight of the water on earth will be: 0.97*58 + 0.03 *18 = 57 gram per mole. This molecular weight of water on earth is also multiple of 19 (19 x 3).

Note there may be slight variation in values of various variables mentioned above, however, in any case, they regress toward a mean which is whole number multiple of 19. Meaning normal distribution of the above variables always lean towards whole number multiple of 19.

The ratio of water to land on Earth is approximately 71:29; meaning for every 71 parts water on Earth, there are 29 parts land. This exact ratio or proportion of water to land 71:29 also adds up to: 7+1+2+9=19.

The Arabic words for water is ‘bahr’ whereas, for earth or land, it is ‘ard’. Interestingly, the word ‘bahr’ (water) has been used 32 times, whereas, the word ‘ard’ (earth or land) has been used 13 times. If we add these numbers, we get 45 (water = 32 times + earth = 13 times = 45 times). If we calculate percentages of water and land from this:

Water: 32*100/45 = 71%

Land: 13*100/45 = 29%

These percentages of water and land on earth are exactly identical to the scientifically observed percentages.

Water the most vital substance:

God said that he created every living thing with water.

“And GOD created every living creature from water. Some of them walk on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. GOD creates whatever He wills. GOD is Omnipotent” (Quran 24:45)

Water is the most abundant and important molecule for our survival, molecular weight of water is 18, which is just short of 1 from being multiple of 19. How could this amazing molecule essential for the survival of all living matter be not 19? Let’s ponder upon this a bit! Water is key to the existence of life as we know it, human body is 60 to 70% water. Water is not only very common in the bodies of organisms, but it also has some unusual chemical properties that make it very good for supporting life. These properties are important to biology on many different levels, from cells to organisms to ecosystems.

Water molecules are communal molecules meaning they do not like to live independent of each other. A water molecule consists of two hydrogen atoms bonded to an oxygen atom, and its overall molecular structure is slightly bent. This is because the oxygen atom, in addition to forming bonds with two of its own hydrogen atoms, also carries two pairs of unshared electrons. All of the electron pairs—shared and unshared—repel each other. Because oxygen is more electronegative (electron-greedy) than hydrogen, the oxygen atom hogs electrons and keeps them away from the hydrogen atoms. This gives the oxygen end of the water molecule a partial negative charge, while the hydrogen end has a partial positive charge. Therefore, water is classified as a polar molecule because of its polar covalent bonds and its bent shape.

Fundamental Acid-Base Reaction:

One of the most fundamental and important reactions in the nature is acid base neutralization reaction that results in the formation of salt (NaCl):

HCl (hydrochloric acid) + NaOH (sodium hydroxide) → NaCl (sodium chloride or salt) + H2O (water)

Molecular weight of HCl: 36; molecular weight of NaOH: 40

Molecular weight of NaCl: 58; molecular weight of H2O: 18

Total reactants: HCL + NaOH+ 36 +40 = 76

Total products: NaCl + H2O = 58+18 = 76

76 is multiple of 19 (19 x 4), hence God’s signature is present in this fundamental reaction as well.

Chlorophyll and Photosynthesis:

One of the most abundant and important molecules in nature essential to the photosynthesis of plants is Chlorophyll. Plants cannot live without photosynthesis and human and animals cannot live without plants and oxygen released by them. Chlorophyll occurs in several distinct forms: chlorophylls a and b are the major types found in higher plants and green algae; chlorophylls c and d are found, often with chlorophyll a, in different algae; chlorophyll e is a rare type found in some golden algae. The molecular weight varies with the formula for each type of Chlorophyll. Interestingly, if we add molecular weights for the various types of Chlorophylls, total turns out to be 5719, which is multiple of 19 (19 x 301). If we take average molecular weight of Chlorophyll, it is 817, which is also multiple of 19 (19 x 43). Not only these signs of God are already miraculous enough, but the molecular structure of Chlorophyll also contains hexagonal shape, which is another sign of miracle of 19 and its hexagonal geometrical shape:

Human food is digested when body breaks it down and absorbs nutrients to use for energy, growth, and cell repair. The digestive system converts the foods we eat into their simplest forms, like glucose (sugars), amino acids (that make up protein) or fatty acids (that make up fats)

According to the photosynthesis equation: 6CO2 + 6H2O + light energy → C6H12O6 (glucose) + 6O2, the energy used in photosynthesis is provided by sunlight, which is absorbed by chlorophyll in plants to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose (sugar) and oxygen, with approximately 2,803 kJ of energy required to produce one mole of glucose.

We can also convert energy used during photosynthesis in form of water vaporization. The heat of vaporization of water (at its normal boiling point of 100°C) is around 41 kilojoules per mole (kJ/mol). This means that 41 kJ of heat is required to boil one mole of water at its normal boiling point. Therefore, if we convert energy used during photosynthesis in terms of water vaporized, it will be 2803/41 = 68 moles of water.

Molecular weight of CO2 is 44, 6 moles will be: 6 x 44 = 264; molecular weight of water is 18, 6 moles of water in the reactants will be 6 x 18 = 108; additionally, 68 moles of water (that is, converted from energy consumed for photosynthesis by using energy equivalence to convert into water moles): 68 x 18 = 1,224.

Now total mass in reactants: 264 + 108 + 1224 = 1596, which exactly is multiple of 19 (19 x 84).

Glucose, amino acids, fatty acids and sugar molecules:

Glucose, amino acids, fatty acids and sugar molecules all play crucial parts in the in the biological systems. Molecular weight of glucose (with molecular formula C6H12O6) is 180 gram/mole. The average molecular weight of an amino acid is approximately 110 Daltons (Da) or gram/mole. The molecular weight of a fatty acid varies depending on the specific fatty acid chain length but typically falls within the range of 250 - 300 grams/mole with the most common fatty acids having a molecular weight around 280 grams/mole; for example, oleic acid (18 carbons) has a molecular weight of approximately 282 grams/ mole.

If we add molecular weights of these important molecules (glucose, amino acids and fatty acids): 180+110+280 = 570, the result is exactly multiple of 19 (19 x 30). The other important molecule is sugar, who molecular weight is 342, which is also multiple of 19 (19 x 18).

Significance of Iron (Fe):

Iron was known and used long before the Quran, however, it was not known that Iron and most of the elements on Earth came from the outer space.

“We sent our messengers supported by clear proofs, and we sent down to them the scripture and the law, that the people may uphold justice. And we sent down the iron, wherein there is strength, and many benefits for the people. All this in order for GOD to distinguish those who would support Him and His messengers, on faith. GOD is Powerful, Almighty” (Quran: 57:25)

Today we know that iron is formed in stars and that iron has the strongest bound nucleus among all elements.

Notice the verse number 57:25 reduces to 5+7+2+5 = 19 so there is divine sign in iron. Gematrical value of the word "Iron" (Hadid in Arabic) is 26 which is also the atomic number 26 of iron.

Chapter 57 of Quran is named Iron (‘Al-hadeed’ in Arabic). Naturally occurring iron consists of four stable isotopes 54Fe, 56Fe, 57Fe and 58Fe. One of them, 57, has the same number as the chapter "Iron" in the Quran. It also turned out that the gematrical value of the chapters’ name "الْحَدِيدَ" (‘The Iron’) is also 57.

Now if we put all four atomic masses of the isotopes of iron 54Fe, 56Fe, 57Fe and 58Fe: 54 56 57 58. This number 54565758 itself is also multiple of 19 (19 x 2,871,882).

Another important fact, Iron is Chapter 57 of the Quran, which is exactly in the middle of Quran, as it has 114 chapters. This also corresponds to important scientific observation; we know that middle of earth is comprised of iron core! Can all of the above-mentioned signs about iron and proofs be mere coincidences? Praise God, these are absolutely by the Divine design!

Genetic Code 19/Chromosome 19:

In the genetic code, "19" refers to chromosome 19, which is considered significant because it has the highest gene density among all human chromosomes, meaning it packs a large number of genes into a relatively small space, making it crucial for various biological functions and often associated with genetic disorders when mutations occur on this chromosome; it contains nearly 1,500 genes, more than double the average per chromosome size.

Key points about chromosome 19:

· High gene density: It has the most genes per unit length compared to other chromosomes.

· Important genes: Many genes on chromosome 19 are involved in critical processes like growth, development, and metabolism, including genes related to familial hypercholesterolemia and insulin-resistant diabetes.

· Genetic disorders: Mutations on chromosome 19 can lead to various genetic disorders due to its high gene density.

Essential Building Blocks of Life

An amino acid is the fundamental molecule that serves as the building block for proteins. The 20 amino acids that comprise proteins include alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tryptophan, tyrosine, and valine.

These 20 amino acids found in humans all share a basic structure with a central carbon atom (alpha carbon) bonded to an amino group (-NH2), a carboxyl group (-COOH), a hydrogen atom, and a unique side chain called an "R or alkyl group".

Image courtesy of ajinomoto.com (Structural formula of amino acids)

DNA codes for just 20 amino acids, the building blocks of all of life’s proteins, human body utilizes 20 different amino acids to build proteins. However, human body uses only L-amino acids to synthesize proteins (i.e., only one specific stereoisomer of amino acids, the "L" stereoisomer, is used to synthesize proteins in living organisms; meaning that only L-amino acids are incorporated into proteins).

All amino acids except for glycine exhibit stereoisomerism, meaning that 19 out of the 20 standard amino acids show stereo properties or they are chiral. All 19 chiral proteinogenic amino acids have an L configuration. Only ONE of the twenty amino acids is not in the L- form, and that is glycine. The reason for this is that the side chain group is a hydrogen atom.

All naturally occurring amino acids have either D- or L-configuration. D-form means that, the amino (--NH2) group is present towards the right hand side. L-form shows the presence of group (--NH2) on the left hand side. Image courtesy: byjus.com

Interestingly, if we add up molecular weight of these 20 amino acids (building blocks of proteins), the total turns out to be 2736, which is multiple of 19 (19 x 144).

Additionally, a normal human body requires an oxygen saturation level of around 95% (19x5) or higher, meaning that at least 95% of the oxygen carried in the blood should be saturated with oxygen; this is typically measured using a pulse oximeter and considered a healthy level for most individuals.

All of the above-mentioned scientific facts lead to the same number 19 or multiple of 19 which is the common denominator of Quran (signature of God in nature), is this by coincidence or is it by design? These phenomena mentioned above alone suffice as incontrovertible proof that there is only one God and that Quran is God's message to the whole world. Praise be to God!

Other signs in the Quran:

Quran not only has mathematical miracle based on its common denominator number 19, it has many other miracles. One of the miracles is harmony and balance of the numbers in the Quran. Some examples of balance of numbers in the opposites (antonyms) are provided below:

The word (its meaning): number of times it has been mentioned in the Quran:

“al hayat” (life), 145 times; “al mawt” (death), 145 times

“al-dunya” (mundane life), 115 times; “al ajira” (the afterlife), 115 times

“malaika” (angels), 88 times; “shayatin” (demons), 88 times

“ar rajul (man), 24 times; “al mar’a (woman), 24 times

“ar raghba (wish), 8 times; “al jauf (fear), 8 times

“as salihat (good deeds), 167 times; “as sayya’at” (wrong doings), 167 times

“an nafaa” (benefit), 50 times; “al fasad (corruption), 50 times

“al muslimat” (Muslim women), 41 times; “al muslimin” (Muslim men), 41 times

Source: https://funci.org/the-miracle-of-numbers-in-the-quran/

This awesome balance and precision are amazing considering the fact, that Quran was released over a period of 23 years bit by bit over 1400 years ago. Who could have kept account of words and numbers in perfect harmony while Quran was being revealed over such a long period of time. These results speak for themselves, the numbers don’t lie and show the divine origin of Quran. After seeing God’s signs and affirmations, one will be inclined to proclaim: ‘I bear witness there is no God except God (Allah)’, in Arabic ‘Wa Ashad Allah Elaha Ella Allah’ or وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله. Interestingly, gematrical value of this powerful testimony in Arabic is 532, which is also multiple of 19 (19 x 28).

The above listing of God's signs is just a humble attempt to scratch the surface to make God’s signs apparent. I hope this will spur curiosity in you to research and explore additional signs of God by yourself. Our whole life is not sufficient to be able to explore, witness, and appreciate God’s blessings that He has bestowed upon us without even us asking for those. Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe!
