Genesis and the Purpose of Life
In our minds we always wonder: who are we? where do we come from? why are we here or what is the purpose of our life here on planet earth? and where do we go from here when we leave?
When we look and ponder at the world around us from subatomic level to cosmos, people, animals, environment, oceans, sun, moon, and stars, it makes us wonder how all of this design came into being and who created and running this entire universe in which we exist?
As a rational being, as a minimum, we want these questions to be answered in a comprehensible and rational way for us to have fulfilled lives!
We live in the information era and cannot go with the stories and myths that lead to blind faith. We also understand from our own experience in this life and know for sure that nothing happens, or nothing exists without someone causing it to be or someone creating it. There must be an intelligent designer, the Creator who created all of this wonderful world around us, otherwise, nothing of this would have existed nor sustained in an orderly fashion.
"Mathematics is the language of the universe" or "mathematics is the language of God" suggests that mathematical principles and models provide a fundamental way to understand and describe the laws and structures of the physical world. If we look around us from the microcosm to cosmos, planets and stars everything is bound by the principles of mathematics!
This idea, often attributed to Galileo Galilei, emphasizes the role of mathematics in uncovering the underlying order and patterns that govern the universe! Einstein's theory of relativity, which describes gravity and space time, is a prime example of mathematics being used to explain the universe.
Mathematics is often referred to as a universal language because its principles and concepts are consistently valid across cultures and time. The use of symbols and logical reasoning in mathematics allows for communication and understanding regardless of spoken language.
So what could be a better way to prove God's existence, lets refer to Quran to see if the universal language of mathematics can assist us there!
